About Us

A Wedding Venue with History

This 19th Century 15 acre farm was purchased by, Richard J. King & Cecelia D. Leone - King in March of 1978. The farmhouse was built in the late 1930’s. Decorative elements such as patterned shingles and fanciful porch brackets add to the simplified late Victorian character of the farmhouse. The two barns on the property were built in 1938. The barns once used for agricultural tobacco farming are still standing to this day. In 1981, the Maryland Historical Society added this property to the Calvert County Historical District. In 2014, the farm was inherited by Richard and Cecelia’s 7 children and family. We’ve had beautiful family weddings at the property and are now branching out to the community. You can have the ceremony and reception all in one location. Our ceremony site is located next to one of the late tobacco barns with a walkway path to the cocktail area.

If you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment to walk the farm feel free to contact us.
